Best Lawyers | Linking Lawyers And Clients Worldwide

For a quarter century, Best Lawyers has helped lawyers and clients find legal counsel. Best Lawyers compiles lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. Because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be included, a listing in Best Lawyers is widely regarded as a singular honor conferred on a lawyer by his or her peers. Best Lawyers lists have earned the respect of the profession, the media and the public as the most reliable, unbiased source of legal referrals anywhere.

The Martindale-Hubbell peer-review ratings evaluate lawyers in the United States and Canada based on the anonymous opinions of members of the bar and judiciary, including both those who are rated and those who are not.

Super Lawyers

Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a rigorous, multiphase rating process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third-party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made annually on a state-by-state basis. The Super Lawyers selection process involves three basic steps: creation of the candidate pool, evaluation of candidates by the research department and peer evaluation by practice area.
